Became more and more money focused
I started using Tinybeans when they offered a free service. Now they force you to pay unless you only want to upload 20 photos a month. Such a shame they’d already added things like advertising to make money and now they charge the user, too. There are other similar apps for free so use one of those instead!

Loved it, glitchy now
I used to love it and my whole family follows it. However now I can’t get any of my photos to upload. Seems glitchy

Extremely disappointed
I signed up for this app with the what said a 7 day free trial. They did not honor the 7 day free trial at all. I got charged on day one and got denied a refund. Extremely disappointed and upset with the out come of this!

Customer support is only through email and can't resolve simple problems. Can't get my fiance to get access, so frustrated with something that should be simple.

Super buggy and super expensive. What once was free was then $40 a year. Fine. But now they want $70 a year?! My family is constantly having issues with it. And even with paying I get tons of ads. Over it. Edit to add 11/2024 Cost has risen again. We decided to just go with the free version for now. The amount of uploads a month included for free is appallingly low. There are lots of free options that are just as good. I hate to leave tiny beans, since we've been using since 2021, but 😬

Used to be awesome. I've had it 7 yrs, now subscription is doubling from $48 to $99....and the app is the worst it's ever been in performance. Haven't been getting notifications for months, emailed support and they said it's a known issue but still no fix. Ever since they went to paid subscription quality has gone downhill...and yet in their replies to all the comments complaining about huge price increases they say it's to allow them to deliver quality but as price goes up quality is worse.

The fact that the app has more than doubled in less than a year is awful. We've been using this app for 6+ year and I wish they offered something more manageable than 20 pictures a month. I'm doing about that a week for my family to see. I'll definitely keep my eye out for another option when it becomes available as this price increase is ridiculous.

We've consistently used this app for almost 8 years and have loved it. Really wish we bought a lifetime subscription when it was offered because the price increases are really annoying and frustrating. Like others, we are extremely disappointed with the price increase. I understand need to raise prices, but an increase of double is hard to justify. We have our entire three kids childhoods documented on TinyBeans so it would be hard to give up but when will the price increases stop?

Very glitchy for an $80 app
This is the only app I’ve ever paid for and i can’t believe all the glitches it has. It’s a fun concept and I like that it’s so private but our family doesn’t even get alerts when photos are posted anymore, videos take forever to upload, and every time there’s an update something else goes wrong.

Not functionally sound
It takes several minutes for pictures to load, sometimes they do not load at all. This is not a good user experience

We've used this since 2020 and really loved it as it allowed family to meet our COVID babies, and keep up with them when we couldn't physically be together. We've been premium subscribers the whole time and were willing to pay a significant amount for it as we valued its importance. However, the price increase this year is almost 88%. In one year. I understand the rising costs of all things. A price increase I get. However $35 more/yr out of the blue is too much. We'll be cancelling.

Push notifications no longer work on this app update. Another review pointed this out months ago and they replied and said it was fixed in the latest release on 8/16/2024, but there has not been an app update since 7/30/2024. Tinybeans team - please release an update with the notification fix to the play store and I'll amend my review to 5 stars. Thank you!

App is garbage just like their customer service. My daughter downloaded this and couldn't use the free trial because it kept crashing before you can make anything on it so she had deleted it. Next thing I know I'm Getting billed $38. Reached out to customer support as I shouldn't have been billed but all they do is copy and paste already written responses & don't help you. So now I'm out $38 for an app that I didn't want and can't even use because all it's good at is crashing & taking up space
