Waste of money

Paid for the year because I wanted to use it for all of my sons monthly photos but there is no way to charge the phot ratio on a ‘new project’ so all of my photos are cut off rendering the whole thing useless. It looks like there is a button to change it but it doesn’t do anything.

FamilyAlbum is a fantastic photo sharing app, but the experience for free users is rapidly going downhill. More and more features are locked behind a subscription, which would be ok but the app feels the need to bombard you with multiple full-screen ads for those features at every login. The notification spam is also out of control, I'm having to walk family members through how to disable it when inviting them. Making the experience hostile for free users does not encourage premium sign ups.

Good app for what it does, but it spams you with ads for its own features and products whenever you open it. These ads take a few seconds to load these ads so you feel like you can just navigate around until you get slammed with 3-4 ads in a row. very annoying.

I absolutely Loved this app! My entire family used this to share photos and memories. Unfortunately when my daughter and her husband who were the "owners" of the account got new phones, we didn't know you had to grant yourself access before deactivating your old phone. Customer service has been unhelpful and we can't find a way to retrieve everyone's access. It has been almost impossible to get in touch with customer service.

Every Family Needs This App!

I’ve been using this app for over 4 years now and it is the absolute best! I don’t pay a dime for it and have over 4 years worth of photos on it. I love that my family can log in whenever they want and I love all the things you can choose to order from it! I’ve done the photobooks for each month of both of my daughters’ first year and they are displayed on our entry table. Can not recommend this app enough!

I have had the app for 2 years now and it started off great. I would get my free prints each month and had no issues. I recently started purchasing their calendar and for the second time now my order is nowhere to be found. The first purchase was going to be a birthday gift but it never came in and took weeks to get it refunded. The second purchase was supposed to be a Christmas gift and still has yet to come in (it's beginning of February). Still no tracking number. Nothing.

I used to really love this app! But for the last few months I have to try to reupload pictures and videos multiple times before it’s successful. 95% of the time the videos don’t even upload. Very frustrating

Premium without upgrade

I’ve paid for premium. Never got benefits. FAQ include this problem which put me off. Why would that be a FAQ? I followed instructions to fix. Not fixed. I don’t like when my lack of time costs me money. I have to find the time now to contact. I feel that I should be refunded for poor app function or whatever it is. I believe my daughter has had the features but I have not. Definitely not self explanatory. Difficult to figure out and troubleshoot. I don’t recommend

Family Album is a great way to share photos with Family, I order the free monthly photos and are able to put Albums together for my grandkids... absolutely love it..

I still don't seem to be able to upload from the Amazon photos application. Video clips in 1s videos still have inaccurate poor color that look pale and cold, and video preview pictures within the application show the same.

I'm truly grateful for the existence of a privacy friendly family photo sharing solution. the app is great and the free offering is amazing. however, the premium features are simply priced way too steep, and I can't see any other reason behind that than "people will pay simply because it's their kids". I had much rather the app wasn't free at all and had a much more logical pricing scheme.
