Some glitches

The Movies that save will not save with the dates posted on the pics in the preview part on the app. I saved it more than once to see what happened. I’ve had some small issues. It’s not perfect but it is a good app idea for anyone who wants to save beautiful memories. Some of the AI stuff is good. I’ll say that it’s better than most others out there currently.

Confusing

I am experiencing two separate kinds of private family collections, one of a nephew and one of the grandson. The nephew has FamilyAlbum. It’s interesting how different it is. It’s a little bit all over the place. It’s hard to understand it from day-to-day. You can’t like a picture you have to buy stickers to like the picture so you have to go in your emojis and keep finding an emoji that might fit. And that takes time. Lastly, you got a lot of ads and although I love my nephew, I don’t wanna keep of his month of life. I recommend Tinybeans. It’s super well organized, and hardly and it’s very easy to like the pictures in the picture doesn’t keep repeating itself every time someone comment in the picture my FamilyAlbum does I give Tinybeans five stars. I get FamilyAlbum three. There’s a total room for improvement there. If you’re a mother to be about to embark on your first family shares of your beautiful, I completely recommend Tinybeans, especially where grandparents are going to be involved.

highly recommend

i have so much out of town family and it’s so hard to remember who didn’t receive pictures. this app makes it so easy and convenient to send all the pictures into one spot. they give little photo books and stuff that are so much cheaper than most places and you get 11 free prints a month. i don’t use the app as much as i’d like but when i do i love it.

Awful flashing ads

I have always loved this application, but I absolutely hate the flashing ads on the top of the screen and think it’s terrible that you charge people $100 a year to take them off.

These Idiots Added Advertisements!!

I cannot begin to tell you how discussed I was to see adds pop up in the updated version! They pop up on “recents” ! The x to delete is so small as to be useless!! Clean it up!!!

Love the app, love the concept, but still seems like this company has put monetization above all

Have been a Tinybeans user for 6 years now. Love the concept, love the app. Developers made a quick correction to the forced pop up ad asking you to turn on notifications every time you launch the app. Which is great. But we have so much of our kids memories here that the subscription fee seems both perpetual and inevitable. It’s a good product, just can’t decide if it’s really worth the price or just another fee in a world of subscriptions

good app, bad user experience

the idea and the app itself are great I love getting to see pictures of my little nephew, the issue is that you are constantly pushing sales with no option to turn it off. There is a setting you can turn off that is supposed to stop push notifies for sales but it doesn’t do anything?? I get at least one notification every day asking me to buy prints. What’s the point of giving the option to turn that off if you still do it? I can’t even put this on my older relatives ipads because they wouldn’t understand and would buy thinking I was asking them to or something like that. It’s a shame. I’d recommend something like google photos if you’re wanting to share with older folks who don’t fully understand the internet or just don’t want to be bothered by constant sales pushes.

Best app for parents!

I love Tinybeans! And extended family does too! I love how easy it is to share our photos and memories with family and close friends near and far. I’m told how much my grandparents love seeing so many pictures of their great grand babies, every single time I talk to them. It’s a great app and I have enjoyed using it for the last 17 months! (Also, premium is worth it if you’re on the fence about that!) Edit to add: we’ve been using tiny beans nearly daily for a little over 8 years now, it’s become really fun for my kids to get to look back at themselves on any specific day in years past! Thankful for this resource to safely share our kids with family that lives far away!

Good BUT….

1/2 the time it will say a picture is no longer available but then when I hit edit, then it will pop up OR it picks out the wrong baby….

Issues

I love the pictures it creates. It keeps pulling the wrong child into the pictures even though I do the updates. I wish you can do multiple kids. It won’t let me download the time lines any longer. Sometimes when I download pictures to my phone the picture disappears from the background.

Perfect for sharing photos with the family!

This app is truly amazing. We recently had a baby and I was spending a lot of time sending pictures to all the separate grandparents and it was hard to keep track of everything. This lets me upload baby pictures into one place, and all of our family including the grandparents can access it whenever they want. I love seeing the comments that our family writes on the pictures. I can’t believe this app is free, please don’t ever change that! I can see why it would be beneficial to upgrade to premium because it does offer certain perks, but I’m really loving the free version and I’m so thankful for this app! I would highly recommend this!

Great way to stay connected without social media!

My family and I love this app!! Everyone loves getting the notification that new photos and videos have been added and I love having all of our photos in one place. I also don’t share any photos of my kids on social media, so this is a great way for family and friends to still be see regular photos. Love it!

Can't update my kids pic. What changed? I click on it and it takes me out of the app to the website -- I can select a new profile pic, but the save and continue button does nothing.

Don’t!!!! The worst app

I downloaded this app because it seems so nice. Once you download it you realize that it looks so cheap and unprofessional. They will take the 39.99 per year and that’s how you make money by scamming people. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this app.

Used to be great

This was the best app ever when I started using it in 2020. Totally free! Then they started charging. Understandable that at some point it would happen. The next year the price DOUBLED! So I opted for the free version with limited uploads. Now they say my storage is full and I can’t even see the photos I had or upload new ones. I definitely regret recommending this app to so many other moms.

Cute but deceptive pricing

The description/information for App Store lists $4.99/mo in US but no, it actually wants to charge you $4.99 per WEEK. It’s cute, but not worth over equivalent of $20/month and don’t want to commit to annual pricing with only a couple days to try it out. No thanks, I’ll pass.

BEST FAMILY APP EVER!!!!!

I used social media like many people to keep in touch with family and let them see new photos and videos of the kids, but the issue was that means it isn’t ONLY family seeing my photos. No matter what security settings you choose, the public can still find ways to access your photos which makes me uncomfortable. Finding this app was a GAME CHANGER! I get the same benefits as social media; family sees all the updated photos and videos, they can comment on them and engage in conversation, but without ANY public what so ever. This is ENTIRELY private, unlike other sites that claim to be. This truly is as private as it gets. No one can search your album, you have to personally invite members to be there and they can be removed at any time and lose instant access to your album. I have used this app for quite a few years now and have encouraged many other family members to join as well. If you want a SAFE space for your family photos, with options to order prints or albums, customized videos, THIS IS THE APP YOU NEED!
