Nice idea, it’s gotten too expensive.

I don’t mind ads, but having a twenty photo limit on the free plan is really lame. Every couple of years, they change their policy and it’s reached a point that it is far too expensive. I’m moving all my moments to a personal blog. I’ll really miss the ease and convenience of Tiny Beans, but their policies have priced me out. I’ve used Tiny Beans for six years, I’m really sad to leave. Every company is jumping on the subscription model train and something has got to give. I’d much rather have the option for a lifetime one-time fee. But as far as I can tell, even that isn’t an option anymore.

Fraud charge

I never intended to use this app, they charged me for a yearly subscription, and did not provide me with my money in return, the app is not in use at all.

Great app

We have used tiny beans since the birth of our niece. 7 years ago and we use it for our two kids now. We love being able to share photos with everyone! The only thing I would change is if you aren’t the account owner you have a limit on how many photos you can upload at a time so my husband and mother in law always run out and can’t post anymore photos.

The UI is pretty bad. Why can't I heart posts in the main feed? You have to click in to the photo, then heart it. It also takes forever to load. When I get a notification, it doesn't show the new photos for a good minute.

I wish I could but I can’t

My brother, and my two cousins all used TinyBeans dating back between 2016 and 2021. Over 9,000 photos between 5 children, my family LOVED this app. Focus on the past tense. I just had my first child and was so excited to share the photos the same way with my family, but now it costs $75 a year to share more than 20 photos a MONTH. I took more than 20 photos the first day my daughter was born. I am very sad about this but my child will have photos shared on a different app than her cousins.

Charged for “free trial”

Was offered a free 30-day trial in app, took it, was immediately charged for the full year. Reached out to request a refund and immediate cancellation, was told it’s not eligible. The app is incredibly basic and all functions can be completed in other free apps, I don’t see a need for this and I’m irritated to have been charged $34.99 for something so silly.

Love it but Glitchy

We’ve used this app for almost 5 years and since the payment requirement change, it’s very glitchy. You can only add a message on one photo at a time even if uploading multiple. So then you have to back to each individual photo and edit. If I wasn’t already so many years in, I would definitely look for another app. Additionally, it often shows photos have uploaded on my phone but then they don’t show up for others. Weird and glitchy. Odd especially for the financial investment.
